Parent-Child Program (0-3 years)
Infants (2-12 months)
A beautifully prepared Montessori environment, where your baby is free to explore. The focus of this program is to aid parents as they experience the first year of their child’s life using Montessori method and materials such as progression mobiles, grasping materials and gross motor materials. Parents and Infants come together weekly at our learning studio to assist with the development of movement, refinement of visual, auditory and tactile perceptions and acquisition of language.
Toddlers (1-3 years old)
Toddlers are curious and have a natural need to discover the world we live in. This program encourages parents to help their child gain independence, to aid in the development of fine and gross motor skills, visual discrimination, language, learning through their senses and social interaction.
This program is right for you if you want to…
Support your child and get them not only ready for school but for life.
Grow with your child and prepare yourself as a guide, not their boss.
Learn how to support your whole child’s developmental needs.
Calmly and respectfully change difficult behaviour so you don’t find yourself spiraling into daily frustration and exhaustion.
Have a trusted place to get parenting strategies and advice that matched your values outside the weekly classroom.
Create a calm and inspiring home environment for you and your family.
Attend weekly classes with like-minded families.
Observe a Montessori Teacher with your child and observe your child learn through hands-on learning and self-correcting materials.
Understand how to protect concentration so your child could play creatively and independently.

We attend Joyful Montessori Parent- Infant and Toddler classes. They have been so helpful not only with building concentration and independence in my son, but also for myself. I have learnt how to take it slow, step back, allow him to do things for himself and how to deal with those big emotions. Ashley is so patient, kind and a caring teacher. I highly recommend Joyful Montessori.

I am a first-time mum who did not know a thing about Montessori. I am grateful to have come across Ashley’s page and attended her Montessori at Home course, which was a great start to understand more about Montessori. All the concepts introduced in the course are very mind-blowing for someone like me who is new to Montessori. I have learnt, and am still learning so much from her course, especially on how we, as an adult can set-up a prepared environment for our little ones to cater to each of their sensitive periods and to facilitate independent learning.
Having also attended Ashley’s online classes, I have also learnt from her on how I can present an activity to my child. This is something that is hard to learn from a Montessori book. Thank you Ashley! I look forward to learning more from Joyful Montessori!
